The Super-Vehicle

Many comic book superheroes have specialized vehicles that aid them in their crime-fighting exploits. Because many superheroes have super-speed or can fly, there is actually a dearth of examples (as opposed to the number of headquarters examples). Perhaps the most famous is the Batmobile used by Batman:

The Batmobile’s advantages are its speed, technology and weapons. On the other end of this spectrum we have the example of the Punisher’s van:

In this case it is useful in it’s availability for storage and surveillance. It is not flashy but meets more practical demands. Real Life Superheroes are likely to be using their own vehicles which may be advantageous as they will tend to be less noticeable. It’s possible to use magnetic decals on vehicles during use as your super-vehicle then remove them as you go back to your “secret identity” thus disguising the car in a manner.
