Superhero Manifesto

Let’s face it, the chances of any of the above pictured scenarios happening is pretty slim. In the real world, we must accept the fact that we have real world limitations and do not have superhuman abilities at hand. So in this chapter we will see a pantheon of superheroes that could exist in the real world of today. I approached this from the perspective looking at the range of superheroes that exist in comics then tried to translate these to real world adaptations. I attempted to run the complete range of achievable superheroes and I think I have done a fairly exhaustive job. There are of course some superpowers and abilities that simply can not be done in the real world but what follows is a fairly clever approach. The dearth of real superpowers in our world is a bit of a wet blanket but only adds to the real life superhero’s challenge. Bear in mind that these are only general ideas and the genders, details, etc can be changed and that this is for inspirational and creative purpose. These are my artist interpretations and I have portrayed them as I see them working best…
