Green Moth

The Green Moth is the “dark avenger” type of superhero. Think of a Batman style superhero that works at night, moves in the shadows and is feared by the superstitious cowardly criminal lot.

Clearly, one attraction of this type of character is the “cool factor”. His costume incorporates the “moth” theme, a creature that emerges at night attracted to light (note “icon” references in previous chapter). His uniform consists of a utility belt which holds a variety of devices such as a lock-pick set, high tensile cord or rope, flashlight, mini-torch, etc.

Maiden America


Maiden America fills the role of the upbeat patriotic superheroine, with precedents in characters such as Captain America or Wonder Woman.

Maiden America is not the sort of superhero who fights criminals in dark alleys but is more of an inspirational figure. Her work would consist mainly of high profile activities such as helping clean up the park or volunteering in emergency situations. Her “superweapon” as depicted here is a silver whip à la Wonder Woman’s golden lasso.
